Founding of Naris Company by Mitsuyoshi Muraoka in April 1932.

1937

Started manufacturing and selling cosmetics of its own brand “Naris”.

1937

Launched the first “Conc”, the first wipe exfoliating lotion.

1955-1965

“Cover and color” Marble Makeup concept developed.

1965

Cosmetics sales initiated in Hawaii, USA.

1967

Factory completed in Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture, and Hyogo Training Center opened at the same time.

1974

Introduced esthetic beauty (salon) in Europe. Developed cosmetics exclusively for esthetics and started developing franchise salons.

1981

Development of Dressique,fragrance-free makeup collection.

1983

Developed the “Majesta” skincare series of cosmetics applied with biotechnology. Entered the mail-order business as part of business diversification.

1987

Developed and introduced “Beauty 5”, a mobile beauty device, in the Sales Division. Introduced terminal devices at 970 nationwide sales agents and started accepting orders for VAN.

1988

Entered the store sales business.

1991

Developed “Gloriart” make up series with industries first W/O/W emulsion stabilization technology

1995

Developed the highest grade skin care series “SelGrace”.

1997

Opened the antenna shop “Naris Net Inn” in Dia Mall Osaka

1998

Kagoshima Building completed. Portable ultrasound beauty device “Beauty Sonic” developed.

2000

Naris Up Cosmetics Co., Ltd. established.

2001

Development of palm-size beauty device “Mega Beauty” that enables daily salon type beauty treatment.

2002

“Selgrace” high-end base makeup series developed.

2003

Naris Water Systems Co., Ltd. established. Hyogo Factory, Hyogo Training Center, and Central Distribution Center obtain ISO 14001 certification.

2004

“De I’m” Naris Beauty Studios opened throughout Japan.

2005

Hyogo Training Center renovated and expanded. Naris Cosmetic Frontier Co., Ltd. established with the aim of offering employment opportunities to disabled people.

2006

“Selgrace” high-end skincare series relaunched.

2007

Naris celebrates its 75th anniversary. Beauty Solution, a technique of applying ultrahigh pressure to cosmetics to make extremely fine particles, developed. Naris Wings B&H Co., Ltd., a company that provides total solutions to beauty and health, established.

2008

Naris holds 75th anniversary convention.

2009

“Mega Beauty LxH”, a beauty device that incorporates LED illumination and a hot function that warms the skin, developed.Naris starts bulk export of products from Thai firm, Better Way Co., Ltd.

2010

Naris Beauty Creation College, Pridage, established with the aim of enhancing the firm’s beauty education business.

2012

Naris celebrates its 80th anniversary. Naris holds 80th anniversary convention. “Selgrace” high-end skincare series relaunched.

2013

Joint Venture Company, Faris By Naris(Thailand）Co., Ltd. established in Kingdom of Thailand.

2014

Tokyo Training Center opened NARIS COSMETICS VIETNAM., LTD. established in Socialist Republic of Viet Nam Japan Wellness Therapist Association established Naris acquires the shares in Naris Cosmetics of Hawaii, Inc. in the United States of America.

2017

Hyogo factory, cosmetics manufacturing international standard [ISO22716] certification of cosmetics born beauty salon “Naris Beauty Salon” expansion start.
